- Expectations from others
- Ambiguity of information or statue
- No autonomy to make own choices
- Fear of failure
- Worry about embarrassment
- Fear of letting yourself down
- Fear of injury/reinjury
- Overly strong singular identity
- Over-motivation
- Perfectionism
- A situation outside of your control
- A core value being violated
